“Connon Stain Glass Studios were engaged as stained glass sub-contractor on conservation and restoration works to the stained glass windows in the Sanctuary of St. Kevin's Church, Harrington Street, Dublin 8. The works comprised the removal of five windows to facilitate repairs to the window reveals and stone tracery.

Evan Connon and·his team displayed considerable care and skill in their execution of this work. I was particularly impressed by Mr. Connon's willingness to engage with me in attempting to identify a conservation-lead approach to the window following the principle of minimal intervention and maximum retention of the historic materials (both glass and lead).
